In partnership with Heartland Payment Systems, the nation's sixth largest provider of credit/debit card processing services and payroll solutions, CodePartners is integrating Heartland's Express Funds™ remote deposit capture service with major mid-market accounting programs. The resultant product -- Express Connect -- enables businesses to scan physical checks onsite and automatically deposit and clear them via a secure electronic network. Without going to the bank, business owners can have next-day access to funds through this efficient, safe check-clearing process.
At the company's annual end user conference in Addison, Texas today, CodePartners demonstrated how Express Connect links Express Funds with Sage Accpac ERP, an international, award winning accounting system. Express Connect automatically transfers scanned check images from Express Funds to Sage Accpac ERP's cash receipt function, simplifying the processing, posting, and reconciliation of deposits.

The combination of these leading technologies can be implemented by any business -- and checks can be deposited to any selected bank - even if the customer doesn't have a depository banking relationship there."
Express Funds enables this freedom. Since Congress made electronic check image deposits legal in early 2004, some financial institutions have struggled to deliver this technology to their customers. At the same time, some customers have resisted moving their accounts to banks offering remote deposit capture. Express Funds eliminates these barriers by extending complete freedom of choice in banking decisions to users of the service. In addition, it provides an opportunity for banks without proprietary solutions to offer this service through a neutral third party without the risk of competition for other bank services.
